S-glass fiber
(High strength glass fiber)
S-glass fiber is silicon-aluminum-magnesium system glass fiber, which has high strength. This fiber is independently developed and put into production by our company to meet the needs of national defense and industries.
Compared with alkali-free E glass fiber, tensile strength of S-glass fiber is increased by 30-40%, the elastic modulus is increased by 16-20%, and the temperature resistance is increased by 100-150 °C.
The fatigue resistance of the reinforced material products with S-glass fiber is increased by nearly 10 times, and the
S-glass fiber offers the ultimate physical properties including high strength, compressive strength, large elongation at
break, toughness, and has the characteristics of aging resistance, corrosion resistance, and excellent resin penetration.
