Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat is a non-woven E- or C-glass fiberglass fabric manufactured by spreading continuous filament rovings of 50mm in length randomly and uniformly in combination with a polyester binder in powder form (or another binder in emulsion form).

Chopped Strand Mat (CSM) is a random fiber mat that provides equal strength in all directions and is used in a variety of hand lay-up and open-mold applications. Chopped strand mat is produced by chopping continuous strands roving into short 1.5 to 3-inch lengths and dispersing the cut fibers randomly over a moving belt to form a "sheet" of the random fiber mat. A binder is applied to hold the fibers together and the mat is trimmed and rolled. Because of its random fiber orientation, chopped strand mat conforms easily to complex shapes when wet out with polyester or vinyl ester resins.

A: Usually 10000SQM format or 1 Ton for glass fiber.

A: Normally small samples can be sent free of charge and customers just need to bear the shipping charge, or you can provide your DHL, FEDEX, EMS, and UPS courier account number to us. For bigger sizes, it depends.
